Overview

B.Sc. Medical Radiological Technology or Bachelor of Science in Medical Radiological Technology is an undergraduate Radiography course.  B.Sc. Medical Radiological Technology course is concerned with the direct administration of radiation, primarily x-rays, in disease diagnosis and injury assessment. Medical imaging studies have been a cornerstone in medical diagnosis for decades; however, technological advances and the addition of new imaging modalities now place medical imaging among the most dynamic, expanding and high demand fields in clinical medicine. The duration of the course is three years and it is an important and career originating in nature. Candidates who can assess the technical quality of the image and providing patient care can go for the course.  They also possess skills like problem-solving, decision making and critical thinking. They can join private hospitals and can run their own clinics as well.  Those who want to have a master’s degree aiming to become lecture/universities also can for the course.  The course is beneficial to train the student in conventional radiography as well as in modern imaging techniques.  The course is beneficial for higher studies objecting to become a lecturer at colleges/universities. They can join hospitals and run their own labs/clinics as well. 

Eligibility

·         Aspiring students should have passed 10+2 with science or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognized school board.
