Post
Graduate Diploma in Child Health is a 2-year full-time postgraduate course, the
minimum eligibility for which is an M.B.B.S degree from any recognized
university. Admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Child Health course is based
on the candidate’s performance in a relevant entrance test, direct admission
based on marks obtained in MBBS degree and subsequent round of counseling. The
course specifically lays emphasis on preparing students to provide nursing care
to infants, children, and adolescents at primary and secondary level. The PG
Diploma in Child Health provides various career opportunities after its
completion.

Professor, Nutrition Specialist, Nutrition Coordinator, Sports Nutritionist,
and Personal Physician.
The
program has been designed to offer to eligible candidate’s specialization in a
wide range of child health, wellness, and illness. The program aims to provide
medical specialists with knowledge, skills, and aptitude in the field of
Paediatrics. They shall be aware of the professional limitation of medical
practice and be able to refer to appropriate centers/specialist when required.
