Overview
Diploma in Hotel
Management & Catering Technology is a full-time Diploma program in Hotel
Management of 1 to2 year duration. Candidates are required to have passed
10+2 examination or 12th grade in any relevant discipline of either
Arts/Commerce/Science or an equivalent examination from any recognized board. Candidates
are introduced to the intricacies of the field, helping them gain the required
competence needed in hospitality sector through Diploma in Hotel Management
& Catering Technology program. The program creates a wide arena for
students to improvise on their analytical, management and technical skills,
thus creating a strong foundation for them to imbibe professionalism and
develop enduring career opportunities.
The curriculum of the program is a balance between theory and practice. It has
been designed in a manner to train candidates in disciplines of Hotel

service, food production, front office operation and accommodation operations

Eligibility
Candidates should have
passed their 10+2 examination from a relevant institution listed under any
recognized board.
They
should have passed their 12th grade in any discipline of either
Arts/Commerce/Science with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks and above listed
under a recognized board.
Admission Process
Candidates are required
to have passed 10th- grade and 12th-grade examination with an aggregate of
minimum 50 % marks and above in either discipline of Arts/Commerce/Science from
a recognized board. The admission process is subject to differ, depending on
Colleges. Colleges and institutes do not conduct an entrance examination nor
personal interview for the course.
