Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology is a full-time Diploma program in Hotel Management of 1 to2 year duration. Candidates are required to have passed 10+2 examination or 12th grade in any relevant discipline of either Arts/Commerce/Science or an equivalent examination from any recognized board. Candidates are required to have passed 10th- grade and 12th-grade examination with an aggregate of minimum 50 % marks and above in either discipline of Arts/Commerce/Science from a recognized board. The admission process is subject to differ, depending on Colleges. Colleges and institutes do not conduct an entrance examination nor personal interview for the course.

The work includes carrying out supervision of staffs at Hotels, Restaurants, and Resorts. Ensure executive of services in a proper manner meeting the needs of the clients.

 They conduct sale of Hotel rooms, amenities and spaces of hotel for events and other occasions

Responsibilities include Supervise, Coordinate, plan and supervise the quality of food and services.
