Mathematics, Chemistry/Biotechnology, language and any other subject at 10+2
level
Minimum
aggregate score of 50% at 10+2 level

There are
about 4300 engineering colleges in India. Admission to most of
the engineering institutes is done on the basis of one of the several entrance
tests conducted at national and state level. Some private institutes also
conduct their own entrance test. However, some institutes also offer direct
admission on the basis of merit in qualifying exam or on the basis of
management quota.
