a 2-year full-time postgraduate course which is divided into 4 semesters.
This field is majorly concerned with the treatment, diagnosis, and prevention
of diseases by means of clinical laboratory tests. Students must have obtained
Bachelor of Science in Medical Lab Technology or in any science stream with a
minimum mark of 55% to be eligible to apply for this course.

M.Sc. MLT
M.Sc. in
Medical Lab Technology teaches students about procedures for diagnostic testing
in a laboratory and also helps them analyze and identify substances, and
microorganisms using common instruments found in a laboratory.
Some major
concepts covered by the program in this course are Chemistry, Human Biology,
Organic Chemistry, Haematology, Bacteriology and Medical Technology
Students in
this course gain experience in laboratory procedures, learn to analyze various
substances including glucose, enzymes, and electrolytes. They also work with
instruments, including learning theory procedure, spectrometer, laboratory
mathematics, and clinical applications. Coursework covers identification of
pathogenic microorganisms and their disease processes.

Admission
process for this course is based on the marks obtained in entrance exams. It is
conducted as a single paper test of objective model. There will be 200
