About M.Tech in Communication Engineering 

M.Tech in Communication Engineering is a 2-year full-time postgraduate course, those who wish to seek admission to this course must have a B.Tech Degree with a minimum aggregate score of 60% from any recognized university. Along with it, they must have a valid GATE score. The program is spread over 4 semesters, with the final semester based on the project chosen by the candidate.

M.Tech. in Communication Engineering: What is it About?

M.Tech. in Communication Engineering program has been designed to offer to an eligible candidate, specialization in a wide range of Communication Engineering skills, while at the same time building competence in a particular area of technology.

Those who complete the program may further go into the research field of this particular discipline. Those who join in any government-owned research organization can get into higher posts after gaining sufficient experience in the field.

M.Tech. in Communication Engineering program aims to build in students’ competent technology acumen through advanced study of general subjects such as Microwave Circuits, Advanced Digital Signal Processing later allowing them to specialize in a chosen area. The curriculum involves intensive study, culminating with the completion of a research-based dissertation.

One of the principal objectives of the course is to prepare students for systematic behavioral studies in a laboratory. Such courses are unique and fall in-line with the requirements from the industries. At the end of the program, the student achieves the ability to identify pressing research issues and research directions in Communications, Signal Processing, and Wireless Networks. M.Tech. in Communication Engineering curriculum integrates theoretical and practical components of the study.

M.Tech. in Communication Engineering: Eligibility 

Candidates wishing to apply for the course need to have completed the B.Tech from any recognized university, with Communication Engineering subjects, and with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. Apart from this, they must have a valid GATE Score. In some cases, University level exams are conducted, so required scores must be attained.

M.Tech. in Communication Engineering: Admission Process

Most institutes offering the M.Tech. in Communication Engineering course admit students based on their performance in a relevant entrance test, followed by a round of Personal Interview. Some institutes conduct their own entrance tests for offering admission. Admission process generally varies across colleges.
