tuition fee charged in India for the course ranges between INR 9,000
and 30,000. Candidates aspiring to pursue the course need to have completed
graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Often, additionally
they are required to qualify one of the relevant entrance examinations for
admission to the course, such as CLAT, AILET, LSAT, KIITEE etc.

Eligibility
For applying to the
course, aspiring candidates need to have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline,
acquired from a recognized/ accredited institute, with a minimum aggregate
score of 50%. Candidates are also required to have completed a 3- year diploma
from a recognized institute
Students
who have appeared in their final year examination of a relevant Bachelor’s
degree program, and are yet to pass its final year examination, are also
welcome to apply, subject to a successful completion of their Bachelor’s degree
program/ graduation within a certain time period.

examinations for admission to the course.
Common Law
Admission Test (CLAT) is one of the major entrance examinations organized
by the National Law Universities (NLUs) for admission to the course. However,
admission procedure may vary between colleges, since some of them conduct
their own separate entrance tests for admission.
Other than
that, exams such as AILET, LSAT, AIBE, KIITEE, and CUSAT are also held for
admission to the course in India.
Career Prospects
Various organizations
today need Cyber Lawyers for expert legal services and advice. Cyber Lawyer may
either work with law agencies or be self-employed. Successful postgraduates of
the course are hired as Lawyers in IT companies, Specialists in Cyber/IT Based Arbitration,
Security Computer Auditors, Techno-legal Professionals in Computer Security.

departments, IT companies, corporate houses, public & private organizations
