Master of Science in Biochemistry or M.Sc. Biochemistry, as it is most famous among the students, is a two-year postgraduate program in the field of biochemistry. It mainly focuses on providing the enrolled students an advanced level of understanding about the chemical processes that go within and related to living organisms. The minimum eligibility requirements for this postgraduate program is a graduation degree in science and related fields.
M.Sc. Biochemistry course is designed to provide the students with the perfect balance of theoretical and practical knowledge required for the biochemistry world. It also focuses on training the partaking students on further research in the still emerging biochemistry field.
The program involves advanced level practical and theory courses in topics like genetic engineering, enzymes, immunology, proteins, molecular biology, and biochemical and biophysical techniques etc.
In order to become eligible for M.Sc. Biochemistry, the candidate should have Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks aggregate in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology and other Life Sciences subjects.
