Eligibility
The
aspiring MS Orthopedics candidates must complete their MBBS Course and have the
degree with them with at least 55% marks or higher from any college or
University recognized by the MCI. Apart from that, the candidates must have
completed their rotating internship during MBBS and carry permanent
registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any other registration
with the State Medical Council.
Admission

by the different colleges and the universities.

counseling session shall include Group discussion round and Personal Interview
Round.

Entrance Examinations are conducted for admission in MS Orthopedics by
different colleges and universities. Some of the popular entrance examinations
for MS Orthopedics are –

PG– It is an online computer –based entrance examinations conducted by the
AIIMS New Delhi for the admission in different PG Courses like MD, MS, DM, MDS,
and M.Ch. The duration of the examination is 3 hours for 200 questions.
·
NEET
PG – It is a computer based MCQ Examination conducted by the National
Board of Examination for admission in different courses including MD, MS and PG
Diploma in different sectors. The duration of the examination is 3hrs. 30
minutes having a total of 300 questions.
·
PGIMER–
This entrance examination is especially designed for the candidates pursuing
MS, MD, MDS and DM. It is a computer-based MCQ type examination conducted by
the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. For
MS and MD students there will be 250 questions and the duration for that is 3
hours.
·
JIPMER
PG– This online test is conducted by the Jawaharlal Institute of PostGraduate
Medical Education and Research PostGraduate, Pondicherry. It offers 19 MD
Course 5 MS courses. The duration of the examination is 3 hrs with the minimum
eligibility MBBS.
