Overview
MD General Medicine
course focuses on imparting theoretical and practical knowledge of advancement
in the technology of diagnosing and treating diseases. They are also taught
diagnostic investigation procedures, counseling of patients, monitoring patients,
and handling of medical equipment.
The course
aims to prepare candidates to efficiently:

Eligibility
As a minimum criterion
of eligibility, aspiring candidates need to have completed MBBS/BAMS with a
minimum aggregate score of 50%, with 1-year compulsory internship. Also, a
minimum aggregate score of 60% at the level of graduation.
Often,
candidates are required to qualify an institute, State or national-level
entrance test for admission to the course.

The process of
admission to MD General Medicine course may vary across institutes. Some

students on the basis of their score at the level of graduation, completed from
