Education was established in the year 1972 with a primary aim to impart
training to candidates desiring to become teachers in secondary schools. B.E.S
College of Education is affiliated to the Bangalore University and is
recognized by the Government of Karnataka. It is a Grant-in-Aid institution and
recognized by NCTE. Our B.E.S College of Education enjoys a very good
reputation within and outside Karnataka. It has a beautiful campus with
spacious building maintained by Bharath Education Society (BES). B.E.S Making
dedicated efforts to provide all necessary facilities to the students. The
college management has undertaken keen interest to develop the institution with
all the necessary infrastructure such as good library, Audio –Visual
equipments, Science and Psychology laboratories, Language laboratory, Computer
laboratory and sports facilities. Further the institution is blessed with a
zealous, dedicated and experienced team of teachers. The institute is an ideal
place where every student is given proper attention. It is ensured that each
prospective teacher acquires the basic skills in teaching.
Our college has been getting almost 100% results with 75% distinctions for the
past four and a half decades. Its stands third place among the colleges of
Education affiliated to Bangalore University. BES College of Education is
committed to quality teacher education and to prepare teachers of excellence
and serve the rural poor students. B.E.S College of Education is re-accredited
by NAAC in its II cycle with grade B and CGPA of 2.80.

The institution is committed to offer qualitative pre-service teacher development course with a special focus on intellectual and professional development of the B.Ed. trainees, endearing to provide equal and fair access to wisdom and opportunities especially to the disadvantaged, the minority, the women and the other weaker sections of the society, by leveraging technology and to prepare world class teachers……………….
Mission :
The trainees are motivated to enrich their knowledge, skills and attitude for teacher development programme, provide adequate knowledge in information and communication to face the future challenges in their career, resolve local, national, global cultural, psychological, ecological and pedagogical issues involving all the stake holders, besides fostering win-win attitude among the student-trainees through emerging trends, innovations and leveraging technologies.
