Jam’iyyat Da’wa wa Tablighul Islam, better known in brief as JDT ISLAM Orphanage, established in the year 1922, is a conglomeration of educational institutions, housed in a main building complex and in several buildings adjoining one another, spread over in a vast and wider compound and situated in the heart of Calicut city, at Marikkunnu, imparting quality training and teaching by a team of talented, qualified, and experienced teachers, endowed with the spirit of dedication, professionalism and expertise, under different and varied subjects and branches of study, to aspiring students and candidates from this part of the country and far-off places, even covering the whole of India.

JDT Islam Orphanage & Educational Institutions, established in 1922, is a charitable educational institution. The institution works for the welfare, care and upliftment of orphaned and destitute children. JDT Islam has also established a special school for differently abled children, a technical skill and vocational training institution for children and a professional education institution. The lives of as many as 20,000 orphan children have been transformed by JDT Islam, and they are now leading a secure life. The orphanage is known for its uncompromising quality of education.

Islam College of Nursing
JDT Islam College of Nursing , previously known as Calicut Nursing College was established in the year 2005 as a direct centre of University of Calicut. With the establishment of Kerala University Health and Allied Sciences, our college was de linked from University of Calicut.
From the academic year 2010-11 onwards it is functioning as an affiliated self financing nursing college under KUHS . Our College is recognized by both INC and KNMC.

College of Pharmacy
JDT Islam Orphanage Committee ventured into field of Pharmacy education in 1996 with the commencement of Diploma in Pharmacy. Within a short time span it has become one of the most sought after pharmacy colleges in Kerala. Subsequent to the career success of pharmacists and the increased demand in the health – care industry JDT started its degree course in pharmacy in the year 2004. The institution is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences and is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The College has a team of qualified and experienced teachers who are the backbone and guiding spirit behind the success of the institution. Currently the institution is also conducting M.Pharm (Pharmacy Practice). The students are provided evidence based practice at Iqraa International Hospital and research Centre.

College of Physiotherapy
JDT Islam College of physiotherapy was established in 2005 as a Direct Centre of University of Calicut as per the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to conduct Bachelor of Physiotherapy program. From 2010-11 the college has been developed as an independent self -financing college and it is affiliated to the Kerala University Health Sciences, Thrissur. The college is now named as JDT Islam College of Physiotherapy and functioning in its own three storied building at JDT Islam campus, Vellimadukunnu, Calicut. We started our post graduate program in physiotherapy in 2013 with various disciplines.
JDT Islam college of Physiotherapy started a Physiotherapy outpatient clinic & Rehabilitation center associated with college in the year 2012. In 2016 we opened a satellite clinic associated with located at heart of the Calicut city.
Our aim is to provide fast access to expert health care professionals to enable patients to start their recovery without delay. We are one of the highly reputed physiotherapy center dealing with patients around the globe. The reputation and success of our service has enabled the clinic to expand the number of treatment rooms and the range of services we can provide. Our team of highly qualified and experienced physiotherapists is available at our two locations and work alongside a team of professionals. We are conducting community outreach programs as part of our charity and service towards the society.
