About The Programme

B. Des. In Communication Design is a 4-year full-time undergraduate course. The program is spread over 4 years, divided into 8 semesters of 6 months each. course and includes the latest knowledge and technology focused on the future direction of visual communication and its diverse practices, including graphic design, advertising, corporate branding, product packaging, publishing, web design and more. Students gain a solid understanding of communication design across a broad range of media to prepare them for the challenges of an exciting and evolving industry. 

Overview
Communication design is a very creative field. It is highly suitable for students inclined towards exchanging ideas, information and illustrations by devising and designing new means of communication or even uses the existing means most innovatively. The course program develops in you a mastery of the principles in communication design and the various theories related to it. Communication design is a lot about how different modes of media such as printed, electronic, visual, etc. communicate with their target audience to pass on information and messages. The main aim of communication designers is to attract the attention of people one is focusing on. It asks for design skills that can provide a visual delight to one's audience.
A degree in communications design can lead to a career in web and multimedia design, graphic design or advertising. Potential employers include publishers, advertising firms, education institutions, corporations and design firms. Potential job titles include communications specialist, graphic designer, multimedia director and web designer.Regardless of job title, individuals working as Communication Designers use their knowledge of computer software and hardware, project management skills and aesthetic judgment to create a visual design. Eligibility and course duration
Pass in 10+2 in any of the streams with at least 50% marks. Creative talent is what's most important. Duration of the course is 4 years.

Admission to the course is based on the candidate’s performance in a relevant entrance exam, or merit obtained in the last qualifying exam.The average tuition fee charged for the course in India ranges between INR 30,000 to 3,10,000.
