M.Tech. Civil
Engineering or Master of Technology in Civil Engineering is a
postgraduate Civil Engineering course. Civil Engineering program includes
designing, supervision and construction activities of public works like roads,
bridges, tunnels, buildings, airports, dams, water works, sewage systems, ports
etc. and offers a multitude of challenging career opportunities. It is awarded
after two years specialization program in any one of the various streams of
Civil Engineering. These two years are further divided into two semesters each.
The course is an important and valuable which opens many job scopes for the
candidates after the completion.

Civil Engineering Eligibility
Aspiring
students should have passed B.E./B.Tech. Civil Engineering or equivalent
examination from a recognized university board.
Some of the
very reputed universities and institutes conduct an entrance examination to get
admission to their M.Tech. (Civil Engineering) degree course. Generally, the
admission is through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Score
Merit List.
