M.Tech. Computer Science and Information Security or Master of Technology in Computer Science and Information Security is a postgraduate Computer Science programme. CIS program provides a solid foundation in the fundamental areas of computer science and, in addition, provides numerous advanced courses and seminars to acquaint the student with current computer science research. The main difference in objectives between the MS and Ph.D. programs is that the Ph.D. is designed to prepare students to conduct advanced research. The program provides students with a structured study of applied technical solutions to real-world problems. The program emphasizes the need to understand the program from the denition, through implementation and review. The program uses real-world cases that develop problem-solving techniques through the software engineering methodologies.

*A candidate who has passed Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST candidate) or any other equivalent qualication.
